Description: Meli is a disturbed little girl whose psychosis is severe enough that it physically manifests itself as Naneu when she is under emotional stress. Once Naneu appears, Meli has little control over what it does; its primary function is to protect Meli by hurting/killing people Meli thinks are her enemies, and it will stay until she is out of danger. But because her perception of reality is clouded, she might think someone is out to get her when they are really not. Meli's mind might be corrupt, but her heart is still virtuous and innocent. This is why she is aligned with the Angels.

Attacks: Meli herself does not attack. Naneu can extend its axon up to 15 feet to stab or slash an opponent. The axon can also emit an electrical shock attack that affects an area 10 feet in diameter. Naneu's "eye" can spew a chemical that causes erosion damage on contact with many surfaces, including skin and metal weapons/armor.

Defenses: Meli herself has no special defenses. Naneu creates a forcefield around Meli to completely protect her from metal projectiles as well as energy attacks to a lesser extent. People and other organic beings cannot pass through the forcefield.

Strengths: Naneu is incredibly fast, allowing it to evade many attacks and react quickly to protect Meli.

Weaknesses: Neither can really engage in hand-to-hand or martial arts style combat, or use firearms. Once Naneu's forcefield is breached, Meli is a pretty easy target. But how do you destroy the forcefield? Hmmmm????? Hmm, indeed.
